We are both unemployed and in our late 50's. We live in Calif. where unemployment is sitting at 12% and 18% where we live. I am a teacher, but only substitute is available the last 2 years. My husband just gets unemployment now and I do not get anything because I have only been able to sub and teachers do not get anything for the summer months. I am denied unemployment for the next 3 years. We are just asking for anything to help make our payments or until we get back to work or someone has a job to offer us. We are responsible for several pets as they are like our kids. We would gladly help others when we are able to get back on our feet. Thanks to all who respond.
